“No,” said Peter, “you shall never wash my feet.” Jesus answered, “Unless I wash you, you have no part with me.” “Then, Lord,” Simon Peter replied, “not just my feet but my hands and my head as well!”  Lord Jesus, today I ask for the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon my life.  Cleanse my thoughts so that my mind is stayed on you.  Wash my words so that what I say helps others and glorifies you.  Guide my actions so that I am not an embarrassment to the family of Christ.   Today I will wash my hands over and over again because I will clean things that are dirty, fix things that are broken, or put things back together that have fallen apart.  Today I  need you to cleanse my spirit over and over again as I do the same thing spiritually.  Wash me, wash me, wash me Lord.  Amen.
