MORNING PRAYER Wednesday, April 16, 2025

“Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail…”. Lord, today may be the day that I get sifted, that my faith is tested, that my peace is disturbed, that my storm begins.  I thank you today for the presence of the Holy Spirit in my life, who is with me through it all.  I thank you for your grace and mercy that is keeping me going today.  Jesus said that in this world I will have trouble, but take heart for he has overcome this world.  Today I am holding on to the words of Jesus.  Today, in the midst of all that is going on in my life, I just want you to know that I need thee, O I need thee.  Every hour I need thee.  O bless me now, my Savior.  I come to thee.  In the mighty matchless name of Jesus, I pray.  Amen.
