MORNING PRAYER  Friday, October 11, 2024

 

“I will bless the LORD at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”  Today Lord let the words of my mouth be acceptable in thy sight.  Today I will focus on the good that I can say.  I will try to encourage and lift up others with my words.  I will fight the urge to talk negatively about people in their absence.  Today, I will speak your praise, I will talk about the positive.  When I must have those hard conversations give me both the words and the mindset to say what needs to be said in the right spirit.  Remind me today that praises and cursing should not come out of the same mouth.  Control my tongue Lord, guide my thoughts Jesus, give me the right spirit today so that my words are a blessing to all who hear them.  In Jesus Name. Amen!
