Morning Prayer:
“Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations.” Dear Lord, I thank you so much today for there always being someone in my family that stayed connected with you. It may have been a parent, grandparent, aunt, uncle, sister, brother, cousin, or somebody! But there was always one who stayed in touch with you. One who knew how to pray. One who shared your wisdom with the rest of us. One who walked in faith so that the rest of us could follow. I may not have always been a good follower Lord, but I saw how you made a difference in our family through that one person. Lord, let my life speak for you in this generation of my family. And Lord, let me not become so holy that I forget how to fellowship with my family.
